Hannah Madeira Ni

Hannah Madeira Ni was born April 23, 2001 in Espinho, Portugal. Soon after, she moved to Glasgow, Scotland where she spent the next three years. Even at this young age, she spent much of her time colouring, often using her own face or body if she ran out of paper. When she moved to Luxembourg at age three, she began nursery school and the following year, Spilshoul. At each place, they commented on her creativity and drawing ability. When Hannah was four, she announced that she would be a famous artist and hasn't changed her plan since.

Hannah has participated in several art workshops for children. In 2008, she attended the Bass Harbor Young Artists Summer Art Camp in the United States and in 2009 has already been involved in the Firebirds art course at the Europäische Kunst Akademie in Trier, Diane Jodes-Hall's art course at the International School, and the a'Musee's holiday course. She also hopes to attend Izabela Becker's Malschule this year and will go to the Summer Festival of the Arts, a 3 week long summer arts programme in the USA, in 2010. Hannah is very proud to be the first visual artist involved with Les Artistes en Herbe- and hopes not to be the last!!
