OPPORTUNITY
The Jury also proposed a selection of children and young composers from all sections to be invited for workshops / masterclass in Luxembourg, the awarded will be contacted personally by email.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
Article 1
Deadline for submissions is 1 March 2023 (determined by postmark).
Article 2
Submissions may be sent for the following categories:
- piano or accordion
- guitar
- flute or clarinet
- voice or choir
The candidates can choose between the following arrangements:
- instrument solo
- musique de chambre (duo, trio, quatuor)
- avec orchestre
Article 3
The competition is open for children and adults of all nationalities.
They can participate in the following sections:
- “Junior”, three age groups: till 10 years, 11-15 years, and 16-19 years;
- “Senior”, adults, no age limit, composing for the young musicians
Participants under the age of 18 must provide signed authorization by a parent or guardian.
Article 4
Each composer has to provide her/his name and sign her/his work.
The number of submissions is unlimited. Works are to be submitted in manuscripts or printed scores. Recordings on CD or DVD may be attached.
Article 5
The participation in the “Junior” section is free of charge.
Article 6

Article 7
The prizes in the “Junior” section will be awarded to each age group.
The first prize winner in each group will receive 500 euros (cash, voucher or gift cheque).
The second prize winner in each group will receive 250 euros (cash, voucher or gift cheque).
Third prizes will be awarded to all finalists and will not include monetary awards.
Article 8
The prizes for the “Senior” section are as follows:
The first prize winner will receive 1.500 euros.
There will be two second prize winners, who will receive 750 euros each.
Third prizes will be awarded to all finalists and will not include monetary awards.
Article 9
The winners will be directly informed by e-mail or phone.
The award ceremony will take place on 15 of March 2023.
Some of the compositions will be presented in public or published at the International Forum of Composition 2024.
Article 10
By entering the competition, the applicant accepts the Rules and Conditions of the competition.
The decisions of the jury cannot be revoked. Results will also be available on www.artistesenherbe.lu as of 16 March 2023.

Règlement et conditions
Article 1
La date limite d’envoi est fixée au 1er mars 2023 le cachet de la poste faisant foi.
Article 2
Le règlement prévoit quatre catégories :
- piano ou accordéon
- guitare
- flute ou clarinette
- voix ou choeur
dans différentes configurations au choix des candidats :
- instrument solo
- musique de chambre (duo, trio, quatuor)
- avec orchestre
Article 3
Le concours est ouvert aux enfants et adultes de toutes les nationalités.
Les participants sont admis dans deux sections :
- « junior », dans 3 groupes d’âge : jusqu’ à 10 ans, 11-15 ans et 16-19 ans ;
- « senior », adultes sans limite d’âge : compositions destinées aux jeunes interprètes
Tout participant âgé de moins de 18 ans doit obtenir l’autorisation préalable signée et datée d’un parent ou tuteur.
Article 4
Le concours n’est pas anonyme, chaque compositeur doit signer son oeuvre.
Le nombre d’oeuvres musicales soumises par auteur est illimité. Les oeuvres sont soumises sous forme de partitions manuscrites ou imprimées. Il est possible de joindre un enregistrement sur support numérique (CD, DVD ...).
Article 5
La participation au concours est gratuite pour la section « junior ».
Article 6

Article 7
Les prix en section « junior » seront décernés pour chaque groupe d’âge.
Le premier prix dans chaque groupe sera doté d’une récompense de 500 euros (sous forme de prime, bon ou chèque cadeau).
Le deuxième prix dans chaque groupe sera doté d’une récompense de 250 euros (sous forme de prime, bon ou chèque cadeau).
Les troisièmes prix seront décernés à tous les finalistes sans récompense financière.
Article 8
Les prix en section « senior » :
Un premier prix sera doté d’une récompense de 1.500 euros.
Deux deuxièmes prix seront dotés d’une récompense de 750 euros.
Les troisièmes prix seront décernés à tous les finalistes sans récompense financière.
Article 9
La décision du jury international sera communiquée personnellement aux lauréats par courrier électronique ou téléphone.
La cérémonie de remise des prix aura lieu le 15 mars 2023.
Certaines oeuvres présentées au concours seront créées en public ou publiées dans le cadre du Forum international de Composition 2024.
Article 10
Du fait même de sa participation au concours, chaque concurrent s’engage à accepter le règlement. La décision du jury sera sans appel.
Le palmarès pourra être consulté sur le site internet www.artistesenherbe.lu dès le 16 mars 2023.
Article 11
Les candidats sont invités à envoyer les documents suivants par courrier à l’adresse du concours :
- formulaire d’inscription dûment complété (voir plus bas),
- curriculum vitae,
- copie d’une pièce d’identité (carte d’identité, passeport …),
- oeuvre(s) musicale(s) signées,
- preuve de paiement de frais de participation (pour section « senior »).
